In the summer Neigong program, we have been learning Kigong Bup, a Korean long form. I’ve posted video of the form in the hopes that it will help students with memorization and flow. In the video, I am performing Kigong Bup a little fast for the sake of demonstration. If you time your breath with your movements, and then slow your breathing as much as you can while maintaining a relaxed, calm state, you will move more slowly and find it a more meditative experience. Enjoy!

We held our first Neigong intensive on Saturday the 20th.  With three hours to work, we were able to explore the material of the current Neigong course more deeply.

Students at Traditional Martial Arts Academy learn self defense, as with many martial arts schools. But we also explore fear in general so that we can limit how it holds us back. Children’s classes begin with the basic elements of San Xin Qigong (Three Hearts Energy Exercise). This is the exercise where we hold our hands in front of our chest as if holding a ball and alternately rotate our fingers around each other.
