While 55% of our families are still paying tuition, we have lost a lot of students, and we also have many more students now relying on scholarship to continue their training due to financial hardship related to the pandemic. We are very proud of the fact that we have never turned away a student who had the desire train with us—even during the nearly 14 years that the scholarship was not actually funded! Now, we are fortunate to have a limited amount of funding, but it does not always cover the amount of scholarship given.
We also are proud to say that we have continued—and will continue—to pay our staff their regular wages even if their hours fall short of what they used to work.
But there are struggles ahead. We still have to pay our rent despite not being able to use it in any normal capacity. We also are will have to invest in our HVAC unit—either repairing it or replacing it—very soon.
We are committed to staying open and paying our staff their full salaries during this pandemic. You can help by making a donation (not tax-deductible) below. Thank you so much for your support!
